Use Science Fenns in your class

Every lesson and workshop machine is short, hands-on and free. Here is what students do and where it fits in the TEKS.

How it works in class

Each lesson follows the same path. Notice. Try it. Oops. Figure it out. Grandpa's notebook. Your turn. About fifteen minutes.

The interactive at the end runs in the browser on a Chromebook, a laptop or a projector. Nothing is stored about any child. There are no accounts and no sign-in.

Students tick off three goals as they play. The goals are there to keep them exploring, not to grade them.

The TEKS tags below are a best fit for each activity, taken from Texas Administrative Code Chapter 112, Subchapter A. Check them against your own plan before you rely on them. The simple machines pages sit closest to the force and energy standards, because the elementary TEKS do not name levers or pulleys directly.
